If you think that BO3's movement was just AW + Wallrunning I sincerely ask you to go back and play both games because that take is just not it.

In AW there was no sense of speed, the exo suits were very static and had very little momentum. It was basically just giving you the ability to play not only on the ground but also in the air a little bit and kinda be able to jump.over your opponent for easy kills and stuff.

But BO3 just took it to a whole new level. You could actually build momentum and you could actually practice feathering the boost to stay airborne longer. Also let's not just pretend Wallrunning isnt a huge change to the flow of matches cause it was. It always kept you moving between wall runs and exo glides and the movement was just

I actually think dmz is pretty neat. It's brutal and it takes a lot getting used to but I think it has potential. It's technically included with warzone so you can also play DMZ for free btw.

In warzone you drop in with the same load out everytime. Just a single pistol, then you loot weapons and play like a normal br except obviously there's contracts and stuff you can complete for money so you can buy stuff within that match but once you either win/lose it's just over, and you drop in the next match with just your pistol once again.

DMZ is different though. Its more like escape from tarkov or divisions dark zones. Essentially you have an inventory outside of the match. Once you choose your load out of what you have and can use you start the game. There no plane or parachute like warzone. It just puts you in a random spot on the map.

In warzone there's only players, in dmz there's ai and players, but not as many players so you are less likely to encounter them.

There's still all the contracts and stuff to do on the map that warzone has except now you fight ai most of the time. You have to loot up and sell items and stuff at buy stations to acquire better gear and guns. There's no gas in DMZ so you have the full length of the match to loot up and stuff. And then there's 3 exfil points on the map. You choose when you want to exfil, you can spawn in and exfil immediately if you wanted too.

Once you exfil all your loot you obtained in the match is now in your inventory. So you can use those guns you have in your next deployment. But if you died in the DMZ you lose everything you acquired and took in with you, for good.

So basically it's just tactical risk and reward gameplay where you have to loot and make an informed decision about when you are ready to go. Exfil earlier in the match and you won't have to deal with as many players near the exfil points, but you will have less to show for your deployment. Or exfil late in the match where you are much more likely to encounter players, but youll have tons of loot to haul.
