yeah like i recently played the dark pictures anthology games and i loved them, you can finish them in one play session (around 6 to 7 hours long each) and they still manage to pack enough so that its a memorable experience
at a certain point its just like get to it, i hope game devs would just start skipping the hour long prologues cuz they're just tiring, at this point if you don't know the basic controls for a game then idk what to tell you

i played age of empires 3 back in the day, it was a simple RTS where you just deploy troops and tell them to go explore new lands, civ basically does that but also expands it alot from what ive seen, you can build essentially anything your civilization might need (from libraries to amusement centers to army facilities) and whats interesting is through a play session you'll go through all of the time periods humanity went through, reaching up to the point where you go to the moon
