Trader role added updates to the camp and made hunting actually worthwhile. Plus it added new missions and cosmetic items
Bounty hunter role added tons of new mission varieties with the different types of bounties. It also added legendary bounties which are all unique and even have their own stories tied to them. New cosmetic items as well.
Collector added a new traveling merchant and gave an insensitive to explore the world more. It also added the metal detector and shovel. Plus the cosmetic items
Moonshiner added a whole new buyable and customizable property. Had it's own string of story missions, and added new mission variety outside of that. Plus the cosmetics
Naturalist added legendary animals into red dead online and added 2 new merchants. New mission types related to legendary animals and also just wildlife in general plus added the ability to become animal. for a short period of time
Not too mention each one of these roles has its own tiered pass tied to it that allows you to unlock different items as you play through the role

"(This being objectively untrue)", i don't really know why this is hard for you to understand, it's the exact same argument people throw out for GTAO when they release one of those "content" updates that add a couple of cars, yes the game objectively has more assets content 🤓 , the point being (which i shouldn't have to explain) is that it doesn't make a difference overall considering you're just stacking up more garbage, it's fast food game content, the same with the 500000 jobs that exist in GTAO or the businesses, they're only fun for everyone the first time you play them, but in order to actually stick around and play them on a daily basis you need to be into the grind aspect of it

its good that you brought up destiny, the RDO and GTAO content updates that you seem to love are the equivalent of the patrol missions and the public events, go kill a bunch of combatants do some shit that's the same but reskinned to seem different and then gg you're back where you started, a game that's literally only good for uninstalling since there's nothing left for you to do in it, this is especially true in RDO's case since you literally know there's nothing else that's gonna be coming up, which once again leads to my initial point of rockstar not having that same work attitude they once had, if they were once able to release GTA 4 on april of 2008, then release 2 expansions each 9 hours in length the following year, then the year after that release RDR and undead nightmare, then only 3 years after that release GTA 5 you know something's wrong with them currently, which ultimately is GTAO

I have 3000 hours in GTAO and 1000 in RDO.
Doesn't mean shit, yes I played each and every new update for both games but there's only like 1 for each game that we're actually memorable and I remember having fun in. That's the office update in GTAO and the Moonshiner Update for RDO
Those are the only 2 that weren't completely forgettable
Most of my hours in both games is spent playing with friends making my own fun or roleplaying cause I used to do that a lot
I was never really a dedicated grinder for either game
Red Dead Online makes it super easy to make money and GTA Online has nothing worth buying to me

You played much safer than I did then because my first and medium playthrough had me dying quite a lot. Though at least half of it was due to vsync jank. Physics engine breaks at high fps so you can randomly freeze during Zero-G leaps and die.

Tbh I knew nodes were going to be a little rare so I just kept the plasma cutter and pulse rifle. The pulse rifle is doodoo at first but when you get it upgraded it will do wonders.

Remember in Dead Space 2 there are props everywhere in the map that you can shoot at necromorphs like slasher spikes, leaper tails and stalker claws.
TK is insane compared to ds1
and the pro combat loop is just to kill one necromorph and use parts of its corpse to kill the next one

I'm apart of the minority that thinks it looks incredibly average. Obviously it's extremely early in development, lots subject to change, but the amount of sheer dickriding going on about the visuals, gameplay and all that sorta stuff is a bit astounding for something that, in my opinion doesn't look all that amazing... yet.
I'm sure with time the game will become a worthy successor, hopefully. These leaks will be an interesting little case study tho, I'm eager to see what action r* will take against them, who they target, what they leave, what they can't remove, everything will be interesting to see unfold

There's never an issue with r* single players besides the fact that there's not more of it
Also my theory is that part of the reason they are keeping so tight lipped about GTA6 is because they probably want to avoid delays as much as possible
GTA5 was delayed RDR2 was delayed
They probably want an internal deadline before we get a reveal trailer
