I get that but there's been plenty of games that I gave up on and came back to to have it completely change my mind. Hell Cyberpunk was one of these. A game I was very excited for, a game I played on launch, and a game that disappointed me immensely.

I came back to it 1 month after launch and beat it on ps5 even when it was still buggy as hell and I really appreciated it. That experience has stuck with me and the game sits on my top 10.

Another game like this is ghost of Tsushima. I loved it since the first time I played it but I think I just loved it's world and gameplay and direction. I feel like I didn't pay enough attention to the story.

Beating ghost of Tsushima for the first time it call it like an 8/10 using an /10 scale. Upon playing it twice I'd call it an easy 10/10 and one of my favorite games ever

The police system was completely overhauled in one of the updates, same as the ai in general

There's plenty of quests and even side quests that change some landmarks. For example that building that blows up with you and takemura inside

The character customization is pretty good there's plenty of different outfits and stuff you can make

They've added an ability to completely recustomize your character and you can change your hair in your apartment

And there's no ng+ so once you have your build ready and all your cyberware implanted you have nothing to use it on

People say the gameplay is bad because you don't unlock 75% of the cool shit until the very end of the game

It has been too long since I last did these myself, but if I recall correctly, the main issue with Assassin's Run was that even if you did the staircase guy correctly, you would sometimes not get it.
