Ok so first I should lay the groundwork by explaining an unblockable attack. The name practically says it all but it's an attack that shows up as an orange indicator and cannot be blocked meaning it must be parried or dodged away from.
So to start: bashes and confirmation bashes. Bashes are always unblockable and they always apply some sort of stun to your opponent. A lot of bashes are different. Some are unreactable some can be charged some can be feinted, etc. A confirmation bash is sort of an outdated term as most bashes in the game are one but it's a bash that confirms damage. So say I bash you and hit you with it which stubs you long enough for me to get a full light attack in. That bash confirmed a light attack for me. But if you reacted you could have dodged and lighted me instead (assuming you had frame advantage). Also most whiffed bashes have gaurdbreak vulnerability.
Hitstun is a mechanic that just ties in with frame advantage which im sure your well versed in as a Tekken player

Why does this matter?
Say I throw an unblockable attack at you. And you go to parry it. But I feinted it so your character is now throwing out a neutral heavy attack (because you had to press that button to parry my attack) allowing me to gaurdbreak you and confirm a heavy attack on you.
Say instead of trying to parry me you dodged. welp my guardbreak still gets you because you can't counter guardbreak if caught during a dodge.
This is where good reads come in
Say I throw that same unblockable attack but you know im gonna feint it so you do nothing. I try to guardbreak you and you counter it by pressing the guardbreak button back

And can I please tell you as a new player if you jump into 4v4 modes please don't let yourself be super frustrated at ganking. It's a team mode at times you'll have 4 guys attacking you and you just gotta deal with it.
It's part of the game and it can be very frustrating at times but ganking itself isn't a skilless thing to do. It takes a lot of ski to efficiently and effectively do it and it's a core part of the team based game modes
If you constantly play team modes and get mad that your "honorable" 1v1 was interrupted by your opponents teammate don't whine about it or you'll be labeled an "honortard"

Basically yeah. The core Idea of dominion is you have someone controlling mid, 2 zone controllers, and a teamfighter. Of course team composition is very confusing in for honor and to be honest I don't even get it so to stick with the basics no. Mobbing around with your whole team 4v1-ing everyone is very inefficient

So revenge. A very confusing mechanic and truth be told I don't understand it fully but here's what I do know.
Revenge is a system that allows a person being hit by any more than 1 person to stay alive longer by building up over time and then allowing you to activate it for a big buff to damage and being shielded for like 30 seconds or something (you are basically invulnerable for a bit)
It happens when you gank someone and the entire point is not to fill their bar yellow or they will get it. Meaning during ganks throwing out random attacks and bashes is just gonna give the opponent revenge and the opportunity to kill you, your teammate, or stall for long enough for his team to save his ass and kill you both.
The revenge mechanic and it's consistancy is very coveted but here's my understanding: basic attacks don't feed much revenge if they actually hit the opponent.
Basic attacks feed quite a bit of revenge when blocked
Basic attacks and unblockables feed a LOT of revenge when parried.
And bashes usually feed a LOT of revenge besides a few select examples.
So the game is to use just the right amount of moves in the right timings to kill the opponent before they can activate revenge.
How?
Best early ganking practices consist of fake indicators and proper attack timings which I'm happy to explain in another message if you want
