I have been absolutely loving Restored Land mode of the Beast. I love zombie games, and one of my fav pieces is called Project Zomboid. Part of what I love about that one is the loot permanence, so I was so stoked to see that kind of feature come to my most favorite zombie game series of all time.

Dying Light just has such a special place in my heart. Both protags are fantastic, compelling, and are voiced with truly astounding quality performances from their actors. Thats a big part of what I love most about the game series: atmosphere! Theres no other game series like it, DL knocks atmosphere building out the park.

I could yammer about the emotional stakes of the narrative writing and how well the stories capture the imperfections of humanity and their schemes, but thats a whole other discussion

I just love the vibes of the game and LOVED photo mode in DL2, and was overjoyed to be able to use it in the Beast

Theres a couple NPCs you can have extra dialogue with if you interact with them across the stories, usually leaders/main characters or characters whose quests you’ve fulfilled, and sometimes those dialogues only come up at certain story points before you progress enough to miss out on that round of dialogue

And if you stand nearby NPCs, their chit chat can be responsive to Kyle

It’s by Oasis. It’s kind of crazy what music can do for a piece of media or character and how it/they are understood.

You can convey something in three minutes of music that would take novelists pages and artists canvases as tall as themselves to capture
