Been a coder since August of last year.
Technically last last year since I've been working on The Binding of Isaac mod, which is different to Terraria's:

• TBoI uses Visual Code Studio as opposed to Visual Code (which is what Terraria uses).
• TBoI was coded in Lua, while Terraria in C#, and I would claim that is harder to code in TBoI than it is in Terraria. Here's a comparison between a simple item that grants various stats up and Tear (projectile) effect, and a much more complex weapon with a secondary ability.
