The loot respawns, you can just leave the area and come back. I’d personally sleep to day/night and go back for the chests to respawn if you are going to do that.

My favorite building to top off on materials has always been the small hospital up the street past Dr Zeres. (Northwest on the map)

I had to win around 5 times on Epic Games, then I got it.

Plastic and tape I've always managed to find in all the lootable containers around the tower in the slums.

Sounds like Bright Mountain Tunnel. That area's close to one of my favorite spots: the building that the bolter's back is facing towards. You can enter it through the roof, but the zombies' pathfinding algorithm doesn't let 'em get on top of it. Against the A.I., as safe as a safezone.

Hello! I’ve got a few questions I’m hoping someone more versed in DL1 could answer/clarify for me. I ran through the game about 6 months back for the first time, beat it and the following 100% each then went on to 100% and max DL2 and carnage hall, then recently 100% and maxed DLTB. I’ve revisited DL1 for the Xmas event and it got me wanting to max and 100% it. However I have some issues. Is it even possible to view your statues and flags? I only see the notes and such? Am I missing something? Also, is it possible to see what quarantine zones you’ve previously completed? I’m at 37% for that and have 9 (counting the prison) unlocked, all I know is I def did stuffed turtle lmao. Lastly, how active is the hunter stuff? Like be the zombie or whatever. And coop even, are people still playing? I’ve never done it, don’t even have XBL and I’d need to get it if I wanna 100% since a lot is co-op and that hunter thing. I can’t get some of the solo achievements to work as is, getting headshots with the bow on Rais’ men never seems to count even when I do it over and over.. (sorry for the novel, hopefully someone can answer!)

Yes, you can view it under collectibles. If you go into your inventory, there is an option to view collectibles in the bottom right. For PC, it is F iirc.

As for the quarantine zones, they only become active once you are in close proximity to them. It is easy to see online which ones are there and how many there are to complete.

I also learned the headshot 10 Rais men with a bow achievement only works if you install the bozak dlc. So I did. And it worked perfectly after. No clue what the bozak horde is about yet but I know there’s a few achievements for it and I’ve seen bozak challenges around the map now. Any purpose for doing them or just for xp?

The challenges around the map are different to the actual DLC.

The DLC are time trials, and you have to use the provided weapons in it. You don't have your inventory. Its designed for late game and can be frustrating. But I love it.

Lmao. It's becoming impossible to rank up. Every night hunter that's losing aborts before it can count as a forfeit for them. For a specific one, it was too late, 'cause I had already destroyed multiple nests, so the hunter crashed me. Gay.

If only there were stricter requirements for their intentional departure to qualify as an abortion... Like, if they so much as had one pounce/tackle interrupted/evaded, it'd be reasonable to ensure any subsequent drop-out is a forfeit.

Bows and crossbows can only legitimately do up to, like, somewhere between 5k and 6k damage.
Shotguns can be legitimately 14k if acquired on a low-Power-level save—they can, of course, be transferred to high-Power-level people and retain their high damage.

PvP has become so dead that I’ve had to switch to hunter after waiting for over 20 minutes, only to get biters and fapexs, I played so much hunter the past few weeks I’ve actually become good at it while I can barely hit shots with a crossbow because of how little I play on human

Yeah true, at least the positive I noticed is I don’t rely on GP spits as much as I used to a while ago, I learned to go for proper tackles and their variants to land spits, and the occasional spit snipe after an animation/if they’re standing still

Learning to go for insanely fast spinning/turn tackles can honestly pay off pretty well

Yeah, flick tackles are OP on keyboard and mouse. Still, sweaty 4-digit-hour people with 9,999 FOV will still manage to dodge a lot of 'em. I've found my win rate to be much higher against experienced players if I focus on (howl/tendril) GP spits—except for when I'm fighting a controller player.

Best time to go for a 180° tackle, from my experience, is right when the human starts getting up ('cause, like, they were knocked down earlier). Their camera briefly stops tracking you and is unavoidably locked in one direction 'til they're up.

I noticed that, it’s very easy to just turn one direction then the other before they get up to land a tackle as well if you don’t reach them in time, but even without them being knocked down, those tendril sprint turn/spiral tackles feel so good to hit on a turbo sweat that only uses 2h after any animation

Oh, one thing people don't really say: if you would like to skip the claw animation before your GP, you can hold Claw and Tendril at the same time while aiming at the ground in front of you (start with Claw first—so not truly at the same time).

You will sprint for a bit then go straight into charging a GP. Can be useful for GP-spamming a UV-suppressed person tryna throw a flare.

I think you often/sometimes won't get any tendril-sprint speed boost from that alone, though (maybe depends on angle). If I want to do a grounded tendril-GP, I do some normal tendril-sprinting first, unless I'm already close.

Also, tackles from above, below, the side or behind are undodgeable (the first 2 of these 4 are only dodgeable if there is distance).
