you can find dev blueprints they have some good weapons early game you can farm prison or bozak if u have either of them but supply drops are in the next part of the game you can also ask people for weapons this is one of the best communites for stuff like that

Dying Light settings: fullscreen disabled, windowed borderless (also tried switching off game voice chat)

What basically happens is that the moment I have Dying Light active, my friend can't hear me on discord. When I bring discord up with alt+tab then he can hear me. I have overlay turned off as well as game detection etc.

In other games discord works with no problem (Battlefield 1, Counter Strike 2 etc. both games having their own voice chats too)

You get better weapons the higher your level is.

It is designed for end game, but it can be done.

Co-op makes it easier. But I do suggest just playing it through on Normal mode to get the hang of it, or watch a tutorial on how to complete it.

Nightmare is the best mode to run Prison on.

You can get a lot of money. When you've played for quite awhile, you barely even use money anymore.

It's literally just leveling up your survivor level, you get higher damage value on looted and purchased weapons as you level up

If you have 250 dmg on your best weapon, you're prob around lvl 8 or 9, since you finished story, play new game plus, or do side missions and level up

An easy way to get money is just sell the guns you get from the humans in prison and if you dont need the weapons, you can sell the weapons too

Much better than just scrapping them for 1-3 scraps

If you deleted your save data after that happened, you would have gotten everything back

It would have used your last save that sony had before they downloaded the latest copy of your save
