they are both 150 Kills each, in different ways. Both counters go up no matter whether you have them active tracking or not. One of them is killing with your fists. The other is weird and triggers a few different ways - one of which is death by grappling hooking zombies.

although I just got the PC version and so I don’t have grappling hook yet, so for the one counter I’ve been kicking them into spikes and such, and that seems to work. kicking/throwing them off buildings might work too.

if you have the grappling hook I recommend using that on zombies along with your fists. I think whatever deals the killing blow - it goes towards that counter. try to get them both to 150 for both rewards.

what I did (on Switch) was went right into The Following. then I worked on maxing it my skill trees. before I finished all the side quests I restarted the main game as New Game + (still on Normal difficulty though). then the special Events came to Switch and I’ve been doing those while exploring the city more. Now I’m starting from scratch on PC on Hard difficulty and that’s also fun because I have to loot for crafting mats/supplies again and it’s more dangerous.
