Hey so. I know that Restored Lands will have the Alpha Volatile hunt you at some point in the night. But I'm curious on how it works. Is it just a random night where they suddenly start hunting you? Or is it at a certain point in my survival or the story? Does killing the alpha permanently remove them from the run? Or do they come back eventually?

I gotta say I really like this game mode so far, I’d be interested in seeing something like it in DL2 as well but there’s something really nice about clearing an area and going “well, here’s now basically a safe zone” and everything being permanent really makes the world feel like a real survival game in the best ways, not sure how I feel about the hunger mechanic still but I like the limited flashlight battery

U can gather enough food to sell it in large quantities to traders, but unfortunately it’s worth very few coins, so it just weighs down your inventory.
And Chimera spam at the end feels so boring. I even forgot that they have run out of ideas by the time of the release, so they just decided to spam us with the same enemies.
The only thing that keeps you in balance as a player is the limit of 25 units of ammunition for the grenade launcher

If you've chosen to play it that way, then yes. U could increase the gamma value on top of using the brightness filter.
In truth, DL2 has the darkest night of all 3 games, so much so that now, with the fixed flashlight, it is barely playable at night in Nightmare mode with Default and Gritty filters without using the Nightrunner Vision Booster
