I have to disagree, Kyle is pretty buff. Even tho in the game lore he doesnt really workout and does lots of parkour and physical activity, in real life it would be an exceptional case you would develop that build with only that training

Kyle is not exactly "aesthetic" like most gymrats would define, an example is he's bulky with a wide waist, although it might be genetics it's also because good development with the obliques.
I would say Kyle's physique in DLtb is more like a heavyweight wrestler. In wrestling it's obviously a lot of high intensity and volume training but it is also a lot of weight lifting (lifting other people too)

An example of someone who has a similar physique with the type of training you say is the ex ufc fighter Yoel Romero who claims that he didn't lift weights and did mostly high intensity high volume (also was an Olympic wrestler), but even if Romero used roids or not, he has an exceptional genetic that allows him to build that amount of muscle with that training
Btw he's still fighting and keeps very impressive physique for a 48 year old guy

No difference at all after NG+10, but eventually you just run out of things to do in a NG+ cycle and can't rely on just random encounters and darkzones for entertainment. It's fun to rush the main story, get the game as hard as possible, and then enjoy the sidequests with the added challenge. Once you're out of sidequests, start the next NG+, rinse and repeat.

Also helps for farming co-op loot packs, once you're out of quests and safe zones you have no way to earn any more.

two different things dawg. ghost of yotei is set in a world where folklore and tales is treated as reality (and in some cases, is reality), and its set in a world where tribute is common to give, for folklore entities and gods alike. for dltb, its the modern world, people can distinguish folklore and tales from reality, and there are quests that give you regular supplies. having people give "tribute" to crane because he's feared wouldn't make sense, he's actively siding with the people and is quite appreciated by the people.

Volatiles seem to be absurdly durable even for an apex predator in a world full of incredibly strong zombies, to the point that Kyle in beast mode actually seems to have a brief moment of trouble when killing them in the finishers and even seems to have an easier time killing and ripping apart bigger and supposedly stronger zombies in beast mode

Honestly I fully believe that if not for game balance and leveling mechanics in the games we'd genuinely need anti materiel weapons to actually hurt a lore accurate Volatile

I'm a little confused on the infection process of THV.

THV from Harran is a different strain from the one that the rest of the world ended up succumbing to, right? The variant of THV we see in Villedor has been modified by the chemical bombings, which we can clearly see in the designs of the infected (glowing boils, bright acid, etc.) But the ones in Castor Woods should MOSTLY represent what the rest of the world's infected look like (outside of chimeras.)

So, what confuses me is how certain infected (such as The Banshee or Howler) are able to be "born" outside of Villedor if the game implies that the only reason for its existence is because of the modified THV found within the walls of Villedor. Is it just by mere coincidence that extremely EXTREMELY similar variants just so happen to exist in multiple places? The Howlers especially confuse me because it seems like such a specific thing that only exists because of how badly the modifications well... Modified them. I don't see how they're capable of existing outside of Villedor.
