question, for Restored Lands does it mean that the book levels have guarenteed spawns as stuff only spawns once or are you screwed if you do all dark zones and get nothing?

I had this same question at first. It's not really noticeable if you don't rush the dark zones off rip at a low level and get stuck with beginner level books. Sidequests can give you books and the vendor can too if you've ran out. I've finished everything and I only got the bandage, one or two mods and one craftable weapon to legendary. I didn't really need that many books in the first place. The rest you don't really need :)

You can do both afterall. I got the grindy part of Restored Land over with today so I can focus on getting One-Life finished for the next little while. It's refreshing being able to play a little differently and think a little differently about loot but halfway through the story when you start to level up and get the grappling hook and whatnot, it starts to feel very samey as the normal game
