I've got all 35/35 now, including the 5 new ones from the latest update. I think I managed to clear them pretty fast, though I’m sure the pro hunters were even quicker. Still, feels great to have the full list finished

Actually, there's a trick for it. Just gather a huge crowd of zombies and aim at head level. If the crowd is big enough, you'll almost certainly hit someone in the head with every shot. It makes the achievement much easier to finish. Give it a try

The best place to do this is at the National Hall of Heroes in Golden Pine Park. There are tons of zombies there, so you can get it done pretty easily. Just make sure to kill the spitters first so they don't mess up your aim. Give it a try

One more tip for that spot: focus on the zombies in the front row first. Once you clear them, move your aim to the ones coming up behind them. This way you won't get overwhelmed and your shots will stay consistent. It's much easier to keep the headshot streak going that way

Here’s my tip for your Nightmare NG+ run: forget about the night, it’s too risky. Focus on farming as much food as possible, all sorts of it. You’re going to need it badly — by the end of my run, I was almost out of food, even though I had like 100 pieces of different food items at the start. Good luck, you’ll need it

For Legend levels: start by maxing out unarmed damage (fists and kicks), otherwise you won't even be able to stomp heads. Then go for weapon damage. After that, upgrade the Beast form — first the form itself, then the damage, or vice versa.
Also, once you reach about Legend level 20, start picking up every weapon you find. The gear from your previous save will be too weak for NG+. And a final tip for the Baron boss: if you're going to fight him, make sure you have at least some weapon damage from Legend points before the first stage, otherwise it'll be a nightmare. Good luck, you’ll need it

One last thing: make sure to upgrade all your blueprints, especially the bandages. You're going to need a ton of them. When I was doing my run, I went through about 250 bandages — it’s absolute madness. So prepare yourself Also, definitely upgrade the exploding throwing knives. In Nightmare NG+, they deal massive damage to the Baron. If I remember correctly, just two knives would take away a quarter of his HP! They are super useful against large bosses like the Defect (Leviathan) and others. You’re going to need them a lot, so make sure they’re maxed out

I don't find it exciting anymore

the grappling hook is much better

You can't utilize it that much as you could in DL2

since the map is less vertical

You can swing on buildings in old town (not many tall ones there are)

plus it's a district so it won't be a giant place

you can also use trees around the map

this grappling hook would be beautiful in central loop

It didn't get any nerfs, it now carries momentum when you swing off it, meaning you can fly at high speeds sometimes

Holding onto the grappling hook no longer drains stamina

Paraglider is not present in this game unfortunately

instead there's cars which aren't as fast as buggy in DL1 TF

The parkour is also not as high and fast as in DL2

it's more realistic and grounded

which I prefer so much

jumps are no longer floaty

The parkour isn't slow by any means

you just don't jump as high or far as in dl2

the only thing you can call slow is the climbing

which is the slowest in the franchise, slower than DL2 and DL1

so climbing can feel like a chore

climbing vertically is okay

but climbing horizontally is insanely slow

I got bored of climbing

After finishing the main story and side quests all you have left is random open world encounters where you save survivors or fight baron's soldiers

regardless, again main issue with me because i have an absolute ape brain is that beast mode should charge faster and last longer. maybe make the percentages for the LL upgrades higher so its more rewarding to max them out. when i did max out the beast mode duration and charge rate LL upgrades, hardly noticed a difference.

however i also want it balanced. having it last TOO long and charge TOO fast would make it boring and unrewarding. but still think it should be higher then it is now.

We’ve gotten 2 big updates, the NG+ and Nightmare updates and we have had 2 events so far the Pubg event and COTB within 4 months of the game being out. Neither DL1 or 2 had anything going on 4 months after release. Techland asked us what we’d like to see added to the game so clearly they’re cooking something up just be patient. None of the games are live services, like most story games once you beat them that’s it they’re done. Techland is one of the few devs who actually support their games post launch, I’d much rather wait and get solid updates rather than them pump out slop each month.

also re village is 5 years old, and has had years to focus on optimization and simply, isn't as resource taxing as dying light since the zombies in dying light are so numerous and have set behaviour patterns, this takes the ram of the series S more significantly than re village being a mostly hard-coded game in which most enemies can be far out of render distance means they dont constantly horde resources, where as dltb has hordes of zombies everywhere so there's always some in render distance.

You also get chest rewards for side quests and maybe electrical stations i can’t recall

I’d also like something similar to the gre anomalies in DL2 but with the different chimeras.

You can dodge cancel pretty much all of your moves, identical to DL1's grapple cancel, but the problem with TB's dodge is that for some reason it pulls your reticle back up to a minimum height

like you can't dodge cancel spam while simultaneously aiming at the ground to hit a low target, it just resets your camera up like 30 degrees

I dont know Tetsu’s gameplay is what DL1s would like like if it was a lot smoother and not so janky, sure you can go fast but the game is being pushed to its limits to achieve that so it just looks messy compared to his gameplay.

DL2 had literally no LL scaling besides the legend skills themselves. A lvl 9 Aiden and a lvl 300 aiden could technically deal the same damage if the lvl 300 just skipped the damage skills. But in TB, a LL 300 crane is doing literally millions of multiples of higher damage than a survivor lvl 15 crane

I have no way to opt out of the extreme damage, and the enemies don't scale hard enough at the "endgame" to bring any form of challenge, and to get the most minute level of challenge I have to jump through so many hoops to make the game feel good again

I love interacting with the mechanics of the game, but tons of people seem to like oneshotting everything (but they also want to play on Nightmare NG+11 and still oneshot????).
