Volatiles have a low-ish chance to drop military medkits or money & Unique or Legendary valuables. Mainly just money often. Alpha volatiles yield craft parts and somewhat a higher chance to get military meds. Asides that, volatiles don’t offer much from the random pool they offer when killed honestly.

If anyone plans on starting a Nightmare run I recommend doing so on NG+ rather than starting fresh, it’s good to stack up on food, batteries and heals before going into Nightmare. It’s not impossible to start on a fresh save by any means you’ll just have to spend a lot more time farming resources as you go rather than being stocked up. When you prep for it you don’t even have to go out of your way because most quests will have food and batteries in them so you’ll keep adding to what you already have.

Otherwise loot fridges, food trucks, bags, and backpacks for food. Apartments will also sometimes have food on the counters

I think everyone should first attempt to get the stuff themselves first, and on your second playthrough if you want to be given stuff then ask. Otherwise you’re just cutting out a huge chunk of the game. Looting and exploring is a big part of the game, and if you’ll also fully upgrade things well before they’re supposed to be. If that just doesn’t seem very fun to me but to each their own

You get more XP depending on what NG+ your on with it maxing out at NG+11, and not everyone wants to replay the story multiple times which is understandable which leads me to believe we will get more things to do to earn XP.

Another thing is it’s supposed to be a gradual process, you’re not supposed to max in a day, a few days or even a week. It’s meant to be something you work towards over time. But anything can happen who knows what they’ll decide to do, time will tell

I love this game but something that makes me confused is that the normal zombies physics are pretty decent (minus not ragdolling when being kicked/colliding into walls), they'll go ragdoll when their foot is off a ledge and looks convincing enough but special zombie still have those dl2 physics where they'll stand in air and have those invisible walls for some reason

*Also breaking free naturally affects the zombie’s stamina bar and health compared to the fast breakout which does absolutely nothing other than the zombie being able to swing at you immediately after!

Friendly fire is on, and they could’ve been using some of the event weapons, Easter egg weapons or pre order bundle weapons etc that you may not have so maybe you didn’t notice them. I don’t believe there is a way to report them the best you can do is block them so you don’t run into them again. The game isn’t really an online game it’s a single player game that has co op.

Yes you get the blue prints for all the COTB weapons and you can craft them at the workbench, if you’re missing any of them you can ask for them in the LFG channel. Currently there is no way to restore repairs, once it breaks you just have to craft another weapon. And for XP just do everything every NG+

There is pretty much nothing better, doing the main story and side quests + substations and such are your only ways of leveling up

If you keep killing volatiles back to back eventually you won’t get any XP for it, they want people progressing normally not sitting in one spot farming infected

Just kill some on your way to each quest and you’ll be fine

They’re all relatively the same damage wise. The only difference is the different stats under the weapon but the base damage is the same for all 1h weapons except the iconic ones

I mainly use 1h it’s what I like but I’ll also use 1.5h for bosses and what not, I don’t ever use 2h they do a lot of damage but they’re incredibly slow and eat stamina
