I'm in two minds. On the one hand I feel DL2 has SO MANY microtransactions its crazy. DL1 had a lot of DLC yes but they were just fun little things and cosmetics to play with. They were also cheap and you get the majority in the anniversary edition now anyway.

Are you past level 15 yet? If you are you’ll see a new tab next to skill points called “Legend” in that you’ll see all the different skills you can upgrade

Personally I I focused on the stamina, resistance and beast upgrades first but you can choose whatever based on your playstyle

No that’s not normal, they spawn every time for me an are supposed to. If there’s human enemies guarding it you have to check the ground for the dead bodies they’ll have the keys

Story quests, side quests, safe zones, power and water stations and random encounters will give you the most XP plus Volatile hives. If you only play at night you’ll get 2x XP. And every time you complete a NG+ the XP will scale so you get more for everything you do each time you complete one but keep in mind enemies will also scale each time capping out at NG+11

Not sure if it’s fixed or not but you can wear the explorer armor set for additional XP bonus, the Excalibur sword gives a 10% extra XP but once it breaks the one you can craft only gives an extra 5% and lastly there’s a charm that gives an extra 3% XP

Maybe in the future but The beast isn’t getting any DLCs they stated that before the game was released. It’s a smaller game meant to be short and sweet. And Harran is destroyed or close to it, nothing really to go back to

At most we will get some additional side quests, bounties and some replayable content but nothing too major

It’s already in the game, when you use beast mode it works as the DL1 grapple. Besides the new grapple is miles better. The old grapple wasn’t fun to use it was just convenient. The new grapple is not only fun but it has combat and parkour uses.

The old grapple was basically a wrist mounted zip line

Yeah I want silencers as well, they added them into DL2 and that game isn’t even supposed to have guns so I don’t see why they wouldn’t add them to The Beast.

What I mainly want to see come to the beast in the future is additional side quests, truck upgrades like upgraded UV and Gas tank, upgraded engine to increase speed cap from 60 to 80-100mph, sheet metal on the windows for additional armor, snow plow or spikes on the bumper for offensive driving and clearing out special infected, bounties and vendors like Jai, Harper and shen but with The beast characters obviously, something similar to GRE anomalies but with the different chimeras for XP and rewards, more random encounters so we have more of a variety and we need some that are unique to night time, something similar to Tower Raid but with the Barons castle and labs, more weapon variety for both melee and guns I’d love to see a bolt action sniper and LMG make its way into the game and silencers of course, anything that provides replay value to the game would benefit it, the game doesn’t NEED them I just want them personally.

I think adding just this list would greatly impact the game positively.

DLTB is 100% without a doubt the best grappling hook

it's literally has DL1's hook mechanic built into it, as just a fraction of its potential moveset

And I’ve said it many times DL1 grapple isn’t fun to use it’s convenient.

The Beast grapple is the DL2 grapple but improved
