I prefer having to put the work in and actually earn level 300, on DL2 you can just be given LL300 and DL1 is pretty easy too if you do stuffed turtle

I just think they should nerf the XP Nerf, it definitely needed nerfed but they went a bit too heavy handed on it.

I’ve been maxed so it doesn’t affect me, and I would’ve gotten max even with the nerf I’ve put so much time and effort into the game, but I do feel bad for the people who started after the nerf. Unless you really like the DL series and are in it for the long haul you’re probably not going to get max.

The game is probably goin to look drastically different and play horribly, it already runs like ass on the series S and it’s gonna be even worse on last gen. That should be all the incentive you need, most games coming out now are no longer being made last gen. It’s nice of them to actually put time and effort into trying to make it playable on them.

They’re probably having a hard time optimizing it to make it run, otherwise it’d be out by now. As of now it’s still coming out so just gotta be patient

You can’t get the truck skins or the nocturnal outfit. You also can’t get the pubg event items but you can get the Call of The Beast weapons if you have someone drop them for you, you’ll get the blueprints.

Sucks for anyone who started playing after the event or didn’t play during it because they missed out on some cool stuff and the best outfit in the game.

If you contributed to at least one of the 22 challenges you’ll eventually receive all rewards even the ones from the challenges we failed. The distribution process starts once you log in and can take up to 24 hours to show up in your stash. If you haven’t already try resetting your game and it should show up and if it’s hasn’t and it’s already been over 24 hours the only thing you can do is submit a support ticket. Keep in mind you’re not the only person who’s missing stuff and Techland is incredibly busy going through all the tickets so it may take some time for them to get back to you. I assume there will be a hotfix update sometime soon that will fix the bug and make sure everyone gets what their missing

Not sure, I played the game day one and never had that issue, the only gameplay bug I’ve had was when the objective was to kill all enemies and when I did the quest didnt progress but that was easily fixed by restarting my game. And it’s only happened twice out of like 20 playthroughs

I think a slide kick would be cool, like maybe slide into standing then roundhouse. But as of now the slide basically is a kick and will knock down enemies. One of my favorite moves is wall running into a roundhouse. I feel like it’s an under utilized move it’s great for clearing a crowd but doesn’t do massive damage

Yeah if your leveling up normally the NG+ will scale normally but if you over level it’ll scale accordingly

So unless your LL300 it won’t affect you

there was like, actual fighting and not just 1-2 shotting every zombie

You can always up the difficulty if you have to, and before the update biters and virals died in 2-3 hits back then as well unless you were using weak weapons. What was broken was killing special infected, volatiles and chimeras in one shot. I’m on NG+13 and I play on Nightmare the game is plenty balanced. The difficulty stops scaling at NG+11

it was nice and balanced up until my LL crossed like 90-100 ish

I recommend keeping a weapon or 2 from every 10 levels so if you play co op you’ll have a weapon that matches the player who you join. But also if you want it to take longer to kill them. I’m max LL300 but if I use a level 290 weapon I can consistently get finishers and it takes 3-4 hits to kill them. You can still get finishers with level 300 enemies but it not consistent

dont get me wrong, i like playing through the game. but it is somewhat lengthy and the really fun balancing only lasts about until the end of the game. then it just starts to get a little too much more on the easy side in my opinion

but i see why its designed that way. to encourage the player to keep doing NG+ until they hit max LL where everything permanently evens out.

If you’re wanting to speed through it to get to a NG+ that matches your level I recommend speed running by skipping dialogue, only doing main quests and optimizing your paths to each quest. I can beat the game in about 2 and a half hours, there’s people who can beat it in less than one surprisingly 😅

My first playthrough took about 63 hours, that includes all trophies, all Easter eggs and getting all weapons etc

Yeah it’s not very fun, but I enjoyed it. I’ve done NG+ 13 times 11-13 were done normally and completing everything. I mainly did the extra to stack up on all the good loot you get during the quests

NG+1 and 2 were both normal playthroughs that took me about as long as a first time ever playthrough would take and both times i really enjoyed it. downside is that its obviously really slow. the speed method is really really fast and it could just be a weird preference i have but yeah it was pretty boring.

Yeah it definitely needed nerfed, it incentivized people to exploit the game rather than play normally like your supposed to. But they went a bit overboard with the nerf

I think you should get just enough XP to make it worth killing infected on your way to each quest but standing in one place an killing infected shouldn’t be a viable way to level up

as far as i remember not only was the XP count way higher even for simple things like killing a single biter, but during the time your XP gain wouldn’t gradually go down the more zombies you killed in quick succession.

Hmm i tested it out on melee so maybe it’s different for guns, I hardly use them. If it bothers you though, you can just put it in your stash

You can’t dismantle the black and gold legendary weapons or the revolver your given but you can break down every other weapon, just put them in your stash you don’t have to carry them around. If your worried about filling your stash don’t be, I have like 30+ weapons in mine and it’s still not full

You can’t break them down because you can only get them once so if you break them down or sell them your out of luck because they can’t be dropped.
