Considering the fact that people needed to survive no matter the cost it would make sense to have really few weapons with ammo, but being at the point villedor was with all the rival factions something as valuable as bullets at that point would be def produced , especially by a kind of militarized faction like the peacekeepers, it would make sense that they wouldnt have too many bullets, but they would def have, specially since the knowledge wouldnt be lost ( there are books everywhere xd)

Even the devs said that they were going to implement them with npcs but i dont know if thats still going to happen

It’s total possible to maintain weapons and create ammo but the fact is as time goes on less and less people will be able to so DL2 makes sense. And the government took all the guns from Villedor so only the people who held onto there’s would have them so very little guns and ammo would be in circulation and that wouldn’t last long either. I prefer guns in DL but I’m just saying it made sense why there wasn’t any in 2

I mean considering the fact that a lot of the high ranks in peacekeepers were actual people from military it would also make sense that they would try to produce firearms and weapons asap having the problems with the rogue survivors, thiefs and renegades, and if they didnt had people that knew how to make them would go as easy as too gather books that teached topics associated with them and they would def make engineers , and considering how desperate the peacekeepers were to be on control , in a realistic way that would be a priority for them

Still, it made sense why there wasn’t any guns. Yes the peacekeepers are ex military and police but take one look at them and you’ll see just how little they actually have. Even their gear is shit. In order to make guns you’d need a factory to produce them and they couldn’t maintain that and there wouldn’t be any left in Villedor anyways so they’d have to know how to create one. The type of guns that they could make would the little hand made side arms that you can put in your throwable spot. I forget what their name is but that’s a good example of the type of guns that would exist. It’s totally possible to make an maintain all that I’m just saying it made sense why there wasn’t any in DL2 it’s the natural progression of DL1.

Quests, safe zones, power and water stations and lastly random encounters is what you’ll get the most XP from. If you do those at night you’ll get even more, and for every NG+ you complete you’ll get more xp for everything you do.
