I just realised that the Taxi area building North East of Old Town is an asset from DL2. It was nice to finally stroll around on the roof without the ionvisible borders you had to overcome with the Paraglider and Grapple

Duffle baggs, training bags, fridges, drawers, backpacks, kitchen has some laying openly on the tables

An hour or 2 looting and you're going to have enough to manage some time, and you're learning which apartments are the best while doin it too.

If it is live service there’s probably a 70-80% chance it fails and if it fails we may not get another DL for awhile so hopefully they’re smart about this. Live service is almost never a good idea, in theory and on paper it sounds great. An ever evolving game they can keep updating but in reality they’re just shitty cash grabs 90% of the time. More live service games fail and get scrapped before release than succeed.

But if anyone can do a live service it’d be Techland so there’s a chance it works out

It’s cheaper yup, but not every weapon has a blueprint so you’ll have to enhance it to keep using it or wait until you get another one

Most of the legendaries you get from the vendors, find around the world and get from crates don’t have blueprints to craft them

Yeah it’s best to enhance every 10-15 levels or just craft them when you have the blueprint. Especially before the Nightmare update, the game didn’t scale with you so if you were already one shotting enemies there was no point in enhancing the weapon any further until you got to later NG+ runs.

Clothing store dark zones have a good bit, but every dark zone will have them, and you’ll get a lot from looting bodies

Just make sure to loot every dead body

The game leans more into the “survival” aspects of DL, but we will potentially get traders in future updates

You can buy out everything in Old town an then run out to the barrier and the vendor will reset and you can buy everything up again and keep doing that to stack up

I’m a loot goblin, so I loot everything and anytime I’m at a vendor I buy them out, I’ve put 340 hours into the game and competed 13 NG+ playthroughs on top of playing a lot of co op so it just adds up overtime especially now that we get the NG+ crates and co op crates.

There is, you can only hold so much ammo, each stack is 999 and you can only hold so much in you inventory and can’t put it into your stash so you have to pick and choose what ammo you want to bulk up on

I actually tried this on my last playthrough during the beast quest. Trying to defeat him with only beastmode. On my 3rd beast out, it didn't heal me, I died 🤣

It only heals you when your beast meter is full, otherwise you start beast mode with the same health as you had before. When it’s full you get full heath but wether it’s full or not full you still heal everytime you do damage just not a crazy amount

Depends on what your game style is. My favorite is the Statement shotgun. I prefer it over the shotgun you get in LL. The one you get in LL has more damage but holds less ammo between reloads. In a big firefight, I want the extra rounds.

Question for you guys that have completed NG +10 or more. If the scaling/multiplier stops at NG+10, will the difficulty be noticeable? I guess what I'm trying to find out, I hit 300, maxed out all weapons on my NG+6 run, I just started NG+7 but I'm not feeling any difference in terms of difficulty dealing with enemies. Wouldn't they be getting harder to defeat?

Since the nightmare update when you start a New NG+ the enemies will scale to your level unlike before the update each NG+ went up by about 30 levels in difficulty all the way up to Level 300 enemies. Since you maxed out before you were supposed to your enemies are now level 300 even though your on NG+7

So currently for you there will be no difference from NG+7 or if you were on NG+11

Changing the difficulty itself is how you can adjust it but that’s about it

Your meant to level up about 30 times per NG+ and once you reach NG+10 then your supposed to be LL300 and then on the start of NG+11 every enemy would also be Level 300 but that’s how it was before the nightmare update. Now the game scales to where your at as I said 👍🏽

I didn’t mind how it was before the update tbh, from NG+1-7 there wasn’t any major changes if you were max LL you could one shot enemies and it wouldn’t be until NG+8 that they weren’t one shot anymore and it got harder up to NG+11 but people complained the game was to easy so they changed it

Unfortunately not anymore, the next step for you difficulty wise is to play on Nightmare or if you want to to feel easier story.

Oh OK. This is where I was off pace. I do mostly full playthroughs ( I skip about 3 side quests). I was getting nearly 50 + levels per playthrough

Yeah I also was off pace, I maxed out during double XP weekend on NG+4 when the update first came out so I was one shotting enemies up until NG+8 and then I started to feel it naturally get harder from 8-11. I liked it better that way personally. But it’s not terrible now, just makes it harder for the people who maxed out too early, and not necessarily harder but a challenge rather than being OP.

That’s not important. The beast story is trash. The gameplay feels smooth and brutal. That’s what dying light is about not the story. It would be better tho if they improved it. I couldn’t play the game as much as I do if I was still one shotting. Before the update you could easily one shot from NG+1-7 and at 8 it started to balance itself back out but now it’ll scale to where ever you are at when you start a NG+. Seen lots of people thrown off guard by this 😅

Yeah they don’t understand the grind we put in, sure it was during double XP but still I could’ve maxed 10 times over already even after the XP nerf. I just play the game a lot it’s the only game I’ve played consistently since it came out. I don’t think infected XP should be completely nerfed because that’s a bit much but it was absolutely broken before. You shouldn’t be able to stand in one spot and level up faster than playing the game how your supposed to. It incentivizes people to exploit the game rather than progress normally.

A lot of people don’t understand LL and NG+ go together, the 300 LLs are for the 10 NG+, if you don’t want to put the work in than you are not the target audience 💁🏻‍♂️
