The skill tree in DLTB is not even half of what we got in 1 and 2, the map is so open that parkour isn't viable half the time, and the truck is nowhere near as cool as the buggy. The scale of the truck compared to the roads and shi feels weird as well. It lacks so much content compared to 1 and 2, I think its going to take years for them to catch up to the marks that the OGs left on us.

Gameplay loop is so repetitive in Days gone, I had to quit playing, Missions just consist of go from Point A to B, grab something, someone, or kill someone, then bring it back to camp. Thats literally the gameplay loop of days gone. Exploration is mad boring too as crafting/loot is so simple, there is only like 5 things to pick up besides plants lol

I like using 1h weapons the best I usually use the blood harvest, alpinist, ol rusty and the iconic crowbar. I’ll use 1.5h weapon sometimes too my favorite 1.5h is the mechanics past time but I also like the iconic bat because I used the good night bat before the update. I hardy use 2h weapon but my favorites are the iconic pole arm, iconic shovel and the regular scythe. Would be cool to get a blueprint for a scythe eventually

My favorite mod has always been the bleed ones, they’re not too flashy and they look cool so having built in bleed mods for the blood harvest a knuckle dusters is really cool. Plus I like how the effect looks when you crit an enemy. I don’t mind using other mods occasionally I just think bleed is the most “grounded” of the bunch. I don’t like the way mods look on certain weapons so i usually won’t use them unless i need the extra damage. Hopefully the next game has mods closer to Dead island 2s in the way they look.

The game scales with you now, before the nightmare update the difficulty scaled by about 30 levels per NG+ but now when you start a NG+ it’ll scale to wherever your at level wise. So if you do your nightmare run when LL300 everything else will be just as strong so it won’t be a breeze. It’s a good challenge but it’s not impossible I’ve beat it a couple times now just for fun

Yeah I did a fist only run on NG+6 or 7 I can’t remember which one it was but it was before the Nightmare update and I was Maxed out By NG+4 so I was one shotting everything and it was fun to do a playthrough of fists only I was whooping ass 😂

It’s pretty much the same grapple as DL2 you can still grapple most things like you did on DL2 there’s just not as much to grapple on but there’s still a lot. Don’t forget to upgrade the grapple I’ve noticed a lot of people forget to do that. You can swing all throughout old town, the brick factories , the fancy mansions , light poles, the things on the train tracks, trees all types of stuff you just can’t grapple most rock faces and minor things.

Since the nightmare update the game scales with you now. So unless you start your very first playthrough on nightmare it won’t matter wether you do it on NG+1 or NG+11 because as I said it’ll scale with you, before the update each NG+ went up by about 30 levels in difficulty all the way up to level 300 enemies at the start of NG+11

No you won’t be one shotting anymore. The game will treat your NG+2 as if it’s NG+11, especially since your LL300 before NG+10.

But you can join someone who’s on a lower NG+ and a lower level than you are and one shot enemies if their on Nightmare because their game will have scaled to them not you

Food, batteries and heals would be most important. I’d recommend one stack of both food and heals and anywhere from 50-100 batteries and collect all of those as you play as well to make sure you’re good. You won’t necessarily need that much but it’s better to be safe than sorry. And as for what weapon it would just depend on what you like to use, it’s good to have a strong weapon, exploding throwing knives, UV flashlight and The boosters mainly damage, healing and damage resistance boosters.

I like using 1h weapons, and if it has mod slots that’s even better especially for nightmare, 1.5 weapons can be really good because you can upgrade your stamina and swing speed so you can swing them about as fast as 1h and you get the extra damage from it being 1.5h. I don’t care for 2h weapons because they’re slow and drain too much stamina which can stop you from being able to dodge if you’re out of stamina. But 2h weapons pack a punch so it’s just a matter of personal preference. I know The Rust 1.5 sword is a really solid option and lots of people have said it’s there go to even tho I don’t use it much.

Definitely carry a shotgun, the sniper or revolver on you because they do lots of damage even to bosses early on, not so much in the later fights though. And use guns for human enemies especially if they have guns themselves, enemies with snipers and shotguns can one shot you depending on how close they are to you so be mindful.

Is it my game or does Stamina Regen in LL leveling affect the regen speed mostly in crouch still position? I'm finding myself in any battle now to regain stamina at a fast rate I crouch sit a brief moment in battle to quickly stamina at near full rate in lik 1,5 to 2 sec

And I wish I could take back unlocked skills in the skill tree. Camouflage is so annoying to be displayed with search too, gives me the false positive to loot more bodies.
