Nah it could. ME Catalyst is more or less how The Beast uses its parkour. But there isn't an emphasis on momentum. Momentum in DL TB can be stopped on a dime and gotten right back instantly.

You need to go out of your way and spend at least an hour gathering resources, if your never going out of your way and only looting during quests your always gonna be low on resources. spend at least an hour or 2 going around dark zones and you’ll be absolutely stacked on loot. You can also buy them off vendors and keep refreshing them and buying more. Resources are more than abundant in this game

When someone is infected and they turn into a viral and they successfully hunt a lot of people they eventually get to the point of being able to evolve and will find a dark place and over time they’ll turn into a volatile, the glowing red volatiles attached to all the blood and guts are in the process of becoming volatiles. But every infected is different some evolve into banshees, screamers, goons etc just depends on who they were before being infected and where they were.

It’s usually from them evolving in or around construction sites, and how you see the volatiles with all the blood and guts around them while they evolve goons probably evolve with a bunch of concrete and rebar around them so as they grow parts of their arm grow around the rebar and concrete, something along those lines I’d assume

Kinda how the screamers in The Beast evolve, they’re locked in straight jackets and in a dark confined space alone so all they could do is scream until they turned so they turn into screamers, same with the screamers from DL1, they’re little kids that can’t do anything but scream so they evolve into a screamer. I’m not entirely sure if there’s a definitive answer for it that’s just my take on it

i'd say so, the parkour system is pretty much from dl2 except more grounded. the combat is the same to an extent, its more-so dl1 combat but weapon executions and a good chunk of the combat skills are from dl2. gear system is pretty much the same just less stats and variety. but to sum it all up, i'd say its just a more polished version of dl2.

I doubt that’ll happen, maybe sometime in the future when Techland is willing to risk money and time developing it. Maybe not the next game but if the next game does super well I could see them trying again, but who knows maybe with the success of the beast they’ll try their hand at it again. I just don’t see it working out, didn’t work the first time and I doubt it will ever again. The DL fanbase is full of single player gamers that’s why co op works but PvP didn’t. I think they should try a 3v3 or 4v4 infected vs survivors, it’d have a better chance at being successful

Doesn’t help that BTZ is full of stinky sweats and cheaters, they’d have to spend money moderating it to get rid of cheaters and it’s not new player friendly because of sweats, it’s not something you can just jump into you have to spend hours and hours getting your ass beat before maybe getting good enough to compete and that’s if you don’t run into cheaters. I think BTZ on paper is a good idea it just didn’t work out well, Techland didn’t do a good job moderating or updating it and the players themselves basically killed it.
