You’ll be able to once your around LL100+ up until NG+8-11. NG+1-7 are about the same in terms of difficulty and one hitting everything especially once your max but at NG+ 8 the game starts to balance again and it’ll take 3 shots for volatiles and a handful for bosses and it increases with each NG+ afterwards up to 11.

You’ll get more health every LL increase so by 300 you’ll be pretty tanky but yeah volatiles do a lot of damage in general especially on brutal. It’s best to farm them with your back and sides to a wall so you can take them head on and funnel them so they can’t swarm you

Personally i upgraded stamina and damage resistance first especially because i was farming LL so my damage was already going up super quick. It’s nice having increased stamina and stamina recovery and taking less damage is always a plus

Thinking of resetting them tho since im hardly using beast mode atm

I only did it since it was my main damage method, now I one shot basically everything using one handed, guns and crossbow I may as well have 3 extra skills that do more damage

It’s basically cosmetics, you do get some extra stuff but nothing crazy or super unique, it’s $10 upgrade so it’s not bad at all I got it just to have it, the armor set is nice and you can mix and match it with other items to make cool outfits and the truck skin is pretty cool. The smg skin is okay there’s better ones you can earn. The main draw for me was the armor set and truck skin.

It’s just personal preference really, I missed out on DL2 stuff because I played the game a year late so I missed some stuff I’d have liked to have, this time around I have everything and will make sure to have it all going forward

church farm for volatiles (probably a youtube video but its really boring just works like safehouse farming just better), no method got patched either lol.

or just do nights mostly and encounters/mission and farming them on long roads with good spawn points so gotta keep moving and they were spawn because they stop when killed after a point on chase 4. Farming spot is probably on youtube. Word of advice use youtube or google for the questions as the effort that goes here could've been there but I'll answer it

On chase 4, if the area gets too full with bodies it usually sends only 1 or 2 volatiles, to make their bodies despawn so more volatiles spawn you'd want to exit the spot when it shows the chase bar turn gray and run out of the farming room and head straight before the cliff, then jump across it to the other roof. Once you see more volatiles headed to the farming room you head back, you'll need to be a lil quick because they can block the door off making it harder to get in. And if needed once you level up your beast DMG and charge, you can kill the volatiles in 2 beast slams.

Play only at night, wear explorer gear for additional XP bonus, on your way to each quest kill volatiles and do the random encounters because if your moving volatiles will infinitely spawn but if you stay still you’ll have to restart the chase every so often. And you get more XP for every NG+ run you do, if your asking if there’s a way to blow through LL no there isn’t you have to play.

It’s well past time to upgrade friend, we’re close to the next gen consoles so PS6 and whatever the new Xbox will be. It’s probably taking them some time to optimize it for older consoles and tbh I wouldn’t even want to play the game on them either it’s not going to look good and run very well tbh.

NG+1-7 are all about the same they’re pretty easy and if your high enough LL you will 1 shot everything the only difference being how much damage you take but from NG+8-11 it gets harder and harder enemies take more than one hit even at LL300. I’m pretty sure each NG+ run goes up by 30 levels or something like that. If you want to feel OP it’s best to farm XP because once you get to 8+ that feeling goes away

LL’s are for the people who will consistently play until the next game comes out and they’re meant to be a goal to work towards as you play and more content releases. If your a grinder you may appreciate the grind but if you don’t care for post launch content it may not be for you

I liked it too, it has its flaws for sure but it’s still solid, it’s sad to think about all that potential wasted because of development hell. I’m actually a fan of the multiple story paths it gives the game a lot more replay value and keeps things interesting especially for co op. I feel like Techland thought that having multiple paths was the problem and it wasn’t it was the quality of the paths.

Hopefully we can get something like that Again in the future but done right

Yup, they gave smaller optional dialogues that don’t really change anything overall it would’ve been nice to have choices that impact the story, I understand it isn’t easy to do but when done right it’s awesome. I put many hours into DL just by trying all the different story paths it was a lot of fun.

I’m close to 300 hours, I mainly play co op and help people out, once more content gets added it’ll be fine. And I have a feeling they’ll go even bigger on the next game. They obviously didn’t want to risk too much and that be the end of the series so they played it safe and people love it so it’s a step in the right direction. I have faith Techland will support this game and add plenty to it and the next game will probably be great too.

Yeah it’s definitely a step in the right direction, and the DL playerbase isn’t as big as we think, this game pulled in a lot of new players that’s why sales were so good but the core DL community that will stick around and keep playing/ DL being their favorite game isn’t very big unfortunately and hopefully that changes. I’ve been thinking about going back to DL2 I haven’t played in months, might be nice to play a bit while I wait for more updates to come out for The Beast

Did you max out LL’s already? You’re supposed to max out over the course of the 10 runs but a lot of people farmed XP, I know I did but I still did all my NG+ runs because I wanted to and to balance the difficulty again and I’m good to go for Nightmare difficulty.
