The parkour is much more grounded and realistic feeling, the grappling hook to me is in a better environment to be used, the world feels a lot more alive and not copy and pasted, the story is better, the leveling system and legend levels are much better. The combat outside of human combat feels miles better and more realistic

As well as Crane being the protagonist again just brings a warm feeling to the game if you play DL1

Oh and Beast Mode is always a plus

I completed my 6th run earlier today before work and it’s my fastest one yet, I mean I was already doing them pretty quick but now that I have so much loot i genuinely don’t ever need to loot again and I’ll be good for the entire time I play the game so with my most recent run I didn’t stop to loot nothing and it made the run so much faster, I’ve already optimized movement and paths to each mission as well. I’ve had multiple people join me and i absolutely left them in the dirt I felt bad 😅

I’ve been able to skip entire climbing sections and what not with good movement and cave sections where you have to crawl and crouch I’ve been using the slide jump to blast through them. A good way to bulk up on scraps is to pick up every weapon you come across and break it down, obviously the higher the rarity the more you get. And same with guns especially since you can come across so many through out the game it’s great for scrap and gun parts I have 2 full stacks of scrap.

Same as DL2, and more physics based, you can hang and swing with it but you can also upgraded it to be able to pull yourself over to something.

Worst case I’m sure you can find a video explaining it but just mess around with it and you’ll learn quick

Because it sucks tbh, the new grapple is so much better. It’s more fun to use in general but the new one can also do more like hanging to save yourself from a fall being able swing over to places, you can pull yourself up to places and it has combat uses like pulling enemies to stomp on their head, swinging off the grapple to land on enemies and you can also drop kick While swinging. The old grapple was nothing more than a zip line/ teleporter, completely nullified parkour and just isn’t really fun it’s just convenient.

I keep having low levels join my game and then rage quitting after getting killed in one hit 20 times 😅
Maybe the see I’m LL300 and think it’ll be easy but before joining the should see that I’m on NG+ 7 and after they join they would see the recommended level for the areas. I’ve watched a dude hit the same zombie for 5 minutes and it didn’t die same with guns they’ll put multiple mags into a zombie and it do nothing and they either get on the mic mad and confused or they dip 😂

Maybe they’re new to the game and don’t know how to tell what NG+ I’m on or what that means, it’s pretty entertaining to watch them though 🗿

I absolutely adore days gone and I’m a big fan of the additional content they added. Adds more replay value to the game I think DL would benefit from some of those game modes

It could be something similar to the PUBG event with different checkpoints you have to run to, you start at the bottom of the map, fight your way through zombies, get to a checkpoint and fight a chimera, then to the next checkpoint and a new chimera fight. 1 checkpoint for each chimera in the game
