There’s multiple places they spawn you can farm. They don’t last as long or cover as big of an area as they did in 2, for TB they’re mainly used for emergencies. On DL2 I had so many I’d use them to create temporary safe zones or to guide new players in dark areas lol. Can’t do that with them this time around though and it’s a good thing. They were wayyyy to OP.

So, I grinded Legend levels up to level 112 on PS5 and the game is literally broken. You one-hit kill anything, even Volatiles, even outside Beast Mode. I think the character’s damage values have some hidden stat that keeps scaling as your level goes up…

I didn’t put a single Legend point into melee weapon damage or hand-to-hand damage. I only invested in stamina and stamina regen, plus damage resistances and Beast Mode duration/charge speed. They really need to look into this ASAP because the game is completely broken — I was one-shotting Chimeras while playing on Brutal difficulty.

I honestly think what's going on, based from how NG+ works, and what people have said here, that techland probably expected you to be on one of your later NG+ runs past a certain legend level. And not being beyond level 100 or so on your first few runs. But then again they decided to give extra xp for this week to make the grinding even easier so I don't even know fully.

At-least I hope it's like this. I hope it actually fixes itself eventually as I do more NG+ runs

It's still leagues faster than DL1. Just did some DL1 Nightmare NG+ playthroughs before TB released and was getting like 45-50 legend levels per playthrough, clearing all sidequests, getting double airdrop packages per airdrop

In TB, I'm like 4 main quests and 3 side quests in and nearly LL 60 without any cheesy farming. I know we have double exp, but 30 levels this early on in the game is still pretty absurd

I can straight up walk into a pack of biters, use Windmill 3 or 4 times and make 10-15k exp immediately

Each NG+ run you do gets harder to balance out your stats. Your first run is always easy but then each run after gets harder it was the same with DL2, the whole point is to beat the game multiple times and everything scales as you go. They probably boosted the stats more than usual because nightmare is coming and this game is a lot harder than DL2. Also each run you get more XP than the last. The double XP has people leveling way faster than they normally would and a lot of people are farming volatiles on top of that so yeah your gonna be super OP on your first run and probably second run as well because double XP. Even with all these high stats we still die in just a couple hits from bosses and volatiles and it’s only gonna get worse with every run.
