Flamethrower doesn't exactly do a lot of damage. It's only use is to set things on fire. But you can do that with any melee weapon, probably more reliably whilst doing tons of damage that way.

Dl2 was floaty at launch, they really improved it. I comeback after from the beast and you can feel the floatyness exposed again with that lowered jump option. I have 700hrs on 2 and almost 300 on the beast so I was told its not really noticable but it very well is now lol

Like the physical parkour option was good before the beast came out but after so many hrs that option needs tweaking again to be like the beasts lowered jump but as I said a bit higher then crane due to age and speed. I think thats a fair compromise and doesn't invalidate the diehard 2 fans that feel like it doesn't need to do everything the beast does and that the game still can be special when really the more options to tweak gameplay the better.

I can loot a lot with the scav set and the throwing axe "Ciupaga" since the weapon as long as I hold it the version you grab off the wall not the crafted because crafted versions has weaker stats. It has 20% common craftpart loot and rare 10% with a weapon throw of 100% as I said crafted versions are like half or less.

You'll get there if you look up the weapon I said and make a loadout for looting you'll get a lot and vendors are very generous now. So just run out to the fountain down the steps infront of old town just run until you see it then run back in and it'll reset his inventory but his inventory is better when you do his quests as well like ammo and I think better mats.

The weapon can't be repaired so I use it as a stat stick as I loot and use another to do my killing lol but it can be gotten over and over off the wall the better version with stats. You'll always have the weapon to craft but as I said the stat bonus will be lower. So go back to the spots.

with the weapon in my hand the non repair version without the BP its 56% common craftparts loot, 28% for rare craftparts loot. Can't put a charm on it sadly but regardless its better then rocking the scavenger set with a weapon and a charm that is lower.

I personally can't agree with that lol consideirng the differences in the characters. I play lower jump option and would hate if they messed with that. I can barely tolerate physical option for parkour in 2 atm. Since 2 had floaty parkour that they bettered in the start. Plus the option. 700hrs in 2 and almost 200hrs in the beast, going back to 2 I can feel it exposed the physical parkour option more where I didn't really feel that much before the beast came out. So for me I think that setting needs to be tweaked to included the lower jump like the beast. I can't say I enjoy moon boots jumping really. That doesn't really solve clunky. What does is tweaking animations at max he gets to climb stuff faster as well. So if you aren't max then it will feel rusty. The point of the beast progress is that he was in 13 years of experiments. Hes weak. Growing in power. Returning to form.

As I said there is a lot more handcrafted things to grab and more grabbing/climb animations but he does climb well at max.

He gets a passive called Improved Parkour-climbing faster and you maintain more momentum. So just gotta keep playing and unlock it.

my only concern atm for the beast is future content are we getting any? like actual DLC or they just working on another sequel which is fine but can they give us more repeatables and fill the world a bit? DL2 is still superior in that department (would prefer them to rework DL2 story but thats a stretch)

my highest damage DL2 weapon with the best stats for damage take like 5 hits to kill a volatile on nightmare

Very powerful, that's with min-maxing the stats on it tho, best critical damage, damage to heads, power attack damage
