I really would if NG+ was never a thing, but I just hate losing my progression. I don’t mind it in dead island 2 because there’s several characters and build to do 😅trust me I will beat this game a lot. I clocked 700 in 2 recently. Almost near 300 for the beast. Once it drops its new content I will catch up to 2 no doubt in hrs. Unless we get more night encounters and encounters in general plus a GRE type boss like 2, is why I want ng+ as it makes up for this lacking part and for me the encounter amounts make up for 2s story lol. Plus I really like the music cinematic and story in this game so it would add to my farming route since it takes you everywhere. 😅

I've seen a major flaw in this weekly events.

There's no new content to do, it already passed some time from release so everyone already ended the game and stuff, so putting this events where there's nothing new to do apart for just this events and completion if someone haven't done it there's no actual reason to play, the events is just "grind stuff for the sake of a reward".

If at least legendary levels in beta with only access to level up and then integrating the actual meat of it or the ng+ update would have suffice to keep events going good without worries

They also don't advertise the challenges ingame, there's no counter to be aware of. If you aren't actively watching their social media you probably won't even know it's going on. Then because there's no "personal goal" reward people are contributing the bare minimum, weighing the rest of the community down.

Used to only be 1 bullet after picking it up the first time it’s out there, I’m glad they fixed it and now it’s 20 bullets a box. It’s a good way to bulk up on pistol ammo and I use the Harran pistol a lot so it’s nice to have

Yeah also the gameplay is just clunky, it’s hard to go back to dead island after playing Dying Light. The Parkour is a huge factor in why I don’t necessarily like Dead island 2, and the zones suck in general. Dead island OG has more of an open world approach with vehicles. Way better imo
