Yeah I have all those from the events. I just got the wrench today, I actually like the basic look of the wrench. For a while I was only use everyday common items without repairing them up until they broke then scavenged for the next one. Made the game feel more like a survival game 😂

Yeah it would be cool to mod just to have the option. But I’m not a big mod guy anyways, most the weapons look better without them so I hardly use them. There’s only a few weapons I use them on because they already look homemade so the mods fit the aesthetic. Like for me I’m not putting a mod on a machete or katana it ruins the whole look of it.

At most I’d use the grip mod for extra durability and it’s the most realistic, the more dps mod is also cool looking imo

The new mods definitely look pretty stupid. Dead Island and DL1 mods actually fit the weapon by implementing spikes or wires all across the whole weapon

The aesthetic of a weapon is not a big deal by any means, it’s just a personal preference of mine. I’d love to have mods on but toggle being able to see them off. And when I’m fighting bosses or volatiles I always use my modded weapons but when I’m just running around killing enemies and surviving I like to use the base weapons for immersion.

The modular mods are more flexible and give the player more freedom. But definitely pretty lame in comparison to mod blueprints
