No I mean the docket codes give you a key. Rather than the key be in the town hall like it is in borderlands, make it be somewhere that is relatively lootless for its effort. Or something like that. There is the hatch that you have to go into beast mode and throw the rock off the top of it in order to enter which has absolutely nothing really a value inside it. There are plenty of houses and buildings throughout the area that could be updated with a simple patch to add a chest or a code or something so that we could go there to find a new legendary for example

I do hope for more encounters at night and the day, some more well made quests (upgradable truck like 1 and a paper trail quest for a buggy covered up in a garage you'd get restored by travis after fighting off people trying to find a long gone off road local legends buggy) pvp, bozak horde but in the ayslum (there is a door that doesn't open so many post game it can lead to underground levels, can have it be ran by a lunatic/cult maybe) and 110% I'd love to see prison runs of the sort. I did tweet a ton of ideas one can hope they do some damn good ones.

1 never docked you for dying at night, it kept track of how much you earned at night and if you died you lost it all. Dltb seems to do you for things you haven’t even earned. You could die and jump out of a safe zone and die immediately and lose another 2400

I mean I have went into plenty of houses and buildings that are fully flushed out but offer absolutely nothing inside of them. Imagine dropping a hidden chest that you require one key to access… it makes finding these places more valuable and wouldn’t be as boring as borderlands is regarding Keys

You could create a legendary weapon every two weeks or once a month or whatever and require finding the new chest for that time. And using the key that you got from the docket code to unlock it. I wish there was a feedback channel in here. Tech land does a really good job of listening to their players better than any company That I’ve played games through, and I know feedback channels are often spammed with ridiculous crap but I didn’t see one when I joined this server and it would be nice to be able to provide feedback that someone would listen to

I mean both games 1 and 2 work that way on nightmare where if you die you lose everything, but they got LL later so it meant nothing when max level, the beast is the same basically in the way that XP doesn't matter right now, they'll probably account for night xp with LL and the higher you are the obvs will be losing a lot of those points until nightmare you die and you lose everything. XP for me isn't an issue right because we don't have anything yet (obvs) I just want more day and night encouters and perhaps more trunks like 2 in buildings.

And I was a day one player for both of those and cleared the game before legend levels ever came into play… so that system is outside of my experience. I just meant that game won rewarded you for staying outside all night. Game two you weren’t allowed to stay outside all night because you had to keep getting into the black lights, which was annoying as hell. Game three you can stay out all night but you won’t survive it because as soon as one volatile spots you you are in a race to a safe zone and if you are playing with friends you have to have that memorized location wise because you can’t even pause it to look at your map to figure out where the nearest one is. You might stand a chance fighting off one volatile but considering how you can destroy so many at the end of the story but in the real open world two of them can kill you even at full beast mode it’s kind of ridiculous

There was jack to do at night in 1 lol, I'm just telling you atm not comparing nightmares but the hardest before it in each game that 1 was the worst game to go out because it was nothing but money and sometimes a mod off a volatile even rarer for a king mod or grabbing the crates at night or bolters. I would talk about the quarantine zones but they're just instanced zones at any time where the rewards mostly were at. And tbh without LL in 1 you could only take on so many if any imo and it wasnt even worth it until LL. So I will for sure give my feedback about the beasts nights as I have for LLs and then nightmare when it comes out. I'm just waiting to see what the LL skills will be and if they will account for the night balance with the new tier of weapons and LL's to beast mode. 2 I will say I hated the mech but it became very easy with UV's everywhere and boosters. It was saddening I'd say I have no fear. 1 I did because they'd whoop me if I tried to farm them and that was fear. I mean Im good at parkour and the grapple hook so I get away a lot sometimes they do 2 tap sometimes they don't same as 1 I dealt with the same stuff and it was worse when pounced because you took damage from other volatiles. A LOT of people forget 1s nights balance it never was still isnt tbfh

so for nightmare I'll know where to go, co op is always hard because you can never be too sure how unlucky or not good someone can be haha which is okay either way I'd say 2 is the best reward wise for night, the beast 2nd and 1 3rd. Bolters are better in TB then 1 because you get med kits and bullets next to the body it eats. The crates only worth it for ammo tbh and the dead guys around them. The hives being the best. Brother I appreciate your opinion. I always platinum the game before any DLC came out, and they always seem to release when I have a queue of games. If I recall there was an assassin‘s Creed and evolve and Titan fall roughly around number one but I may be off on my timeframe a little. When two released I just didn’t like it so it took me coming back to the game after I was bored in order to platinum it but that was also before any DLC came out that I remember. Legend levels were never a thing when I played, so I don’t know how they affect the gameplay. Neither was DLC. That’s why I don’t have any real sympathy for dynamite two players who got guaranteed DLC with their purchase. I pre-purchased both games. Paid in full. But because I didn’t order ridiculous additions I didn’t get it when they got my money months in advance?

I’m old, I don’t have the free time to play games very often. When I invest in the game I expect it to pay out and I don’t mind investing in a game that I expect will do so. Dying light two was a disappointment to me. Dying light one is still fun to this day. My kids still play number one. They don’t play number two. They have access to both.

They don’t have access to the beast because I keep it with my TV and my PS five but they have a PS4 or a PS3 and xbox 1, Xbox 360, nintendo 64 a super Nintendo a Wii and a Wii U and a switch so they can cry in a corner if I don’t allow them access to my console

Yeah I did grab 2 but a couple months later played 8hrs put it down I got bored kinda did the same with 1 in a way but I think my attention was short spanned and the game a bit slow in the start I was ass cameback in 2024 beat both, beat 2 first then 1 and now I love the series after really giving them a try to see why people loved it and mostly 1. I got 600hrs in 2 (mainly gameplay loop and parkour) DL1 I got 200+ mainly for the story emotion that I love and vibes sometimes I do the nightmare legend level grind but im not max and refuse to grind stuffed turtle its boring that method and now 264 in the beast passing 1 in time. it took like a year for 2 to get legend and nightmare I think it was 250 then they increased it to 300. If anything this game is probably the fastest they've done NG+LL and soon nightmare not sure if 1 was that fast but probably the same as 2. Did you get the ultimate edition? The beast is gotten free that way. Fair I respect not giving into the whining most parents mine with my own sibling give into it and I don't as one of her caretakers lol they might like 2 one day its in a better place id say its worth it now just not something with a wow story (doubt they care for that when kids just like to kill zombies as the goal)

No I got base edition because if I recall when I first reserved it there was only one addition available. As with most games back then. I may be wrong. I don’t mind being wrong. Most of the time back then again from my recollection you had the base game or the base game plus a season pass. Ultimate editions and stuff like that came out long after the game was released when they would include DLC and stuff like that. I always hated those because they would reward players who played the game way after release and would essentially punish the players who formed the player base at the start

I think there was an ultimate edition at launch it was pricy like 100USD something like that and then Deluxe, I think standarded eventually got rebranded into "reloaded edition" and the first DLC became free eventually (it was OK that was why, ok no really it was probably a 5/10 so bad) but before they took down the ultimate upgrade for a time it was just a 30USD upgrade for those that didn't have it last year and it was limited time to get because it would give players the beast free that didn't have ultimate, then it was pulled. I started with N64/PS2/1 so I can agree back then it was different what would be post launch dlc and stuff now was all there right at launch and with most just on one disc not two or 3 discs lol.

You can easily get killed by a reg zombie horde while in beast mode while you cant heal

I was always saving the beast mode for a vital situation so never really used it in the entire game on brutal… then realized there was an achievement for getting 666 beast mode kills so i went to farm the junkyard… and died so many times

Don't do it at the night, do it in the day. Simple enough there, but a quick tip using it is that always throw 1 to 3 Bleed Attacks in Beast Mode if you're surrounded. You might not be immune to damage but the stagger is 100% and can stagger a Volatile mid-jump if you are lucky

One was OK in my opinion, two had the best villain in any video game I have played. Handsome Jack was the absolute epitome of villain in my opinion. And it was only possible because of number one. The pre-sequel sucked but kind of fleshed out the background for those who didn’t play number one and added some more lore. Three the loot system was way better but the story just wasn’t as good, for the improved the loot system and the story but they released it too close to other games that I also had an interest in

When you love a game, it's really really hard to get burnt out. I spent over 700 hours in sonic adventure 2 battle before so I get it.

I know when I play with the I am legion reborn mod, it disables certain skills depending on the settings. and I have to manually enable them again when I'm not using that mod.

It took me a while to figure out why I couldn't dropkick when using the mod.
