The only difficulty in the first dying light is the tedious stamina until you level up, but after that parkour is a cakewalk too.

But the combat was never hard

Dl2 fixed a lot of stuff when it came to combat

The biter zombies are hella aggressive, I didn’t remember them being that motivated to grab you and stuff I must admit! Maybe I’m misremembering. I really like the convoys and dark zones, they’re exactly to my taste. Just the right level of challenge

Techland tweaked zombie grabs in dl2, they got SUPER bad where you were getting grabbed every second

They fixed them thankfully

But tb felt balanced in the start before they toned it down

It’s still fine as it is but people still whining at being grabbed 😂

DL2 grabs are not only obvious to see beforehand, they are easy to avoid with one slap to the zombie to cancel out his grab animation. DLTB doesn't do that since its physics system is more realistic
