Ray tracing would not harm the game. You just ignore it if it doesn’t serve your use case. Most people who are whining that the addition of RT would detract from optimization in other regards of the game don’t understand that development teams have a multitude of different teams working in parallel to fix various things. So RT is coming and it will be glorious!!!!1!

after trying DL2 again after so long and having 65 hours in the beast, i do have to say the combat in the beast besides the insane grabbing window zombies have is a lot more weighty
