It cannot be dropped away or dismantled, so players will eventually get a huge stack of revolvers.
That can actually happen now too if they play coop with randoms often and do the quest.

No, the problem with the kicks is the same DL2 has. Enemies just don't fall to the ground even if you kick them from behind . They do their trip animation and then they just stand back up

If you kick them during that animation the animation repeats
