Colouring somehow took way longer than lineart

I have that sometimes, especially that I'm used to sketching lot more times than give my characters actual colour palettes, which does lead to confusion on what colours should the character have and not exceed much to make them less appealing.

But yeah, sometimes lineart can take longer.

Either start your drawing from left and work right or use a sheet of paper

It’s really the only thing you can do especially if you’re using many different layers of charcoal or graphite
