so you publish foo, bar has 20 threads listening, baz has 10 threads listening, 1 thread on bar gets it, 1 thread on baz gets it

each app group can scale independently

anotehr flaw we had is the amount of expertise needed into managing a kafka cluster

kafka requires kafka brokers and zookeeper

its a magnificent creation, just super complex

but to be fair, other stuff really needs this too for "production ready"

but if your not worried about data integrity, ok with stuff not being perfect when things go wrong, a simple rabbit setup is prob fine
