@unreal quarry @cobalt surge now im no doctor, but what i do know on cholesterol (i've been doing lots of research on cholesterol and nutrition so I understand and agree that keto is safe without blindly just accepting 'trust me'), what your doctor told you doesnt make sense.
Your LDL(127) was not even that high, your TOTAL cholesterol is in the SAFE range (200 being the limit, 127+23 = 150). your VLDL (29), which is the REALLY bad cholesterol, was also in the safe range (30-40 being the limit).
One quote: "LDL cholesterol levels should be less than 100 mg/dL. Levels of 100 to 129 mg/dL are acceptable for people with no health issues but may be of more concern for those with heart disease or heart disease risk factors. A reading of 130 to 159 mg/dL is borderline high and 160 to 189 mg/dL is high.
So you even qualified for acceptable on ALL cholesterol metrics if you had no previous health issues.
How the hell is your doctor claiming cholesterol?
Honestly I suspect they are giving you scripted answers due to the insurance situation just to put a checkmark on "they have something to work with now to improve health, out of my office"
You should ask them to explain why cholesterol was the issue when your lipids when your bad lipid results wasn't even that high. but IMO you should find a different doctor.
