technically the SPAM is from spamassassin, not roundcube, roundcube is just using SA 😛 I do the same thing in my mail
doing that before forwarding to gmail helps tell gmail you think its spam so they dont see you as funneling them spam
my email server has at threshhold that super spam doesnt even forward to gmail, it stays in a spam inbox locally i check every 3 blue moons
if its under it but still spammy, itll change subject and send to gmail
which then gmail will filter its own spam for anything i didnt even catch
