But yeah my biggest takeway from the concert was: the tickets are expensive, but when you walk in and see how big and expensive everything is, then watch the show and see how incredibly high the production quality is and how many people are involved and how many moving parts there are etc etc, and you see all the rigging and huge amounts of logistics which went into that tour, the price of the tickets makes sense

if anyone has familiarity with Python, weird query. I have a friend who is just sort of learning python (and i also lack familiarity). They have a variable that's a string of a filename, and when they pass it to a function (like doot(thingy=mystringfilename) the thingy string is now just the file's name without preceding folder structure or extension.
Such as if mystringfilename="C:\files\meow.mp3" when they call doot(thingy=mystringfilename) then thingy is just meow

I watched them stepping through breakpoints using some sort of debugging setup and just watched it happen. Taking one step forward into the function call and boom that variable now exists and is not the same as the full path value it theoretically was set to. It's all magic to me.
