what I will say is stop asking questions on small tiny little conventions like this. I used to do that and it’s an absolute waste of your time. everyone has different opinions, and when you think you’ve got the best route, you look at the code of “professional” programmers for giant projects and you see they go against every standard in your little head.
spend your time working on the big things, realize that things like comments are very opinion based and personal to you, do it how you best see fit. clean up the big things and try to follow conventions, but don’t micro-optimize and try to perfect/consistensize every single line of comment and code
