I haven't read mojangs entire legal terms, so maybe I'm wrong, but here's how I see it:
It's my players who pirate the game, not me. Using the original mojang server is free, using bukkit is free, using spigot is free, using paper is free, so nothing has to be paid to open a server in whatever mode I choose.
My players are the ones playing the game without paying.

Am I missing something? Am I doing something illegal I'm missing? Because I'll seriously consider switching to online mode if you can give me a reason that I may be doing something ilegal.
