I'm running an smp server that goes down to about 12tps when 40 players are on during peak hours even though the view distance set to 3. I'm running on Pebblehost's premium mc hosting. Am I lagging because the CPU is an i7 7700k or is it because pebble is overselling? Should I look for better shared hosting from another host or should I look for a dedicated server? If I go for better shared hosting, which hosts would you recommend? If I go with a dedicated server, how powerful of a cpu should I aim for?
