Do not forget that minecraft is a very crooked game and has a lot of problems, so leaving a map from the old version to the new one can lead to problems loading chunks. You have a way out. Why does my newly bought i9-9900k from Reliable Site performs wrost compared to i7-7700k from ovh. I have moved my 1.14.4 server to i9 yesterday.
For past 4 months with i7 server's tps was 10-13 for 40+ players and 15+ with 20-30 players
Now with i9 tps is 10-12 with 20-30 players and with 30+ it goes 8-10 and with 40+ 6-8
same players/same files nothing really changed in one night......
