so I find an older build, that got it back, but because I wiped everything I had to go through getting repeater bridge all set back up
and this is AFTER I tried to set another DDWRT router that was better up as bridge, but that router doesnt support RB though

and then after I got the RB set back up, I was fighting with the roku express trying to get it to get a signal, which is the entire reason i was fighting network equipment
had laptops getting great speeds mere 4-5 ft from the roku, but roku said no signal

in the end - determined its actually the rokus fault. im assuming it overheating damaged it

as i wondered if something about that area was killing wifi signal too
so i had her just go buy a Roku Streaming Stick + when she can
