I'm not sure if we just don't have one of them, or if they go by the same name with different fat content.

There's nothing by the name of "sour cream" in Denmark. We have 18% and 9% "creme fraiche".

I've always skipped recipes that call for sour cream because I can't get it here. Same with shortening. No such thing here. We have butter, oil, and margarine. No idea what shortening is supposed to be.

No graham crackers either. Our cheesecakes (and key lime pies) are made with digestives. No idea what the difference is :P

These are chorizo and longaniza (pork) tacos from south of Mexico. The chorizo ones from that region are usually dark red and have a distinct flavor, but it’s usually good. I do prefer northern Mexico chorizo better though

Also northern Mexico calls pork as puerco tacos, while central and south call it longaniza/cerdo

It’s all confusing every time I fly back and forth

These corn tortillas aren’t fried, so I don’t normally like them as the corn taste overpowers the meat. There’s yellow corn and white corn tortillas though. Some taste better
