I was wondering, did you have any developed ideas on civilizations/biomes/ islands outside of the mainland we see in game? Is the imperium a force overarching in the like, World Politics or are they mostly relevant to the mainland? Are there people akin to riders outside the mainland, with similar objectives?

Yeah, that was the design idea, but we never got to the prototyping stage -- the flamethrower would effectively through out tiny low damage "bullets" that were great at applying stacks of modifiers
