How would the players find each other? They’ll just camp the whole time. Show on radar or add an objective?
Maybe for 1 v 1 match let them see each other on radar map so they know what direction to go. This should eliminate long matches .
Maybe add a capture point
You mean kind of like king of the hill ? You take the hill and other guy has so long to take it back or kill the person to claim ?

That sounds even more fun. Team mode also could be added for that .
Or we could do the battle royale thing where the circle shrinks forcing the players to fight. We could make the shrink speed based on how long we want each round to be.

1 v 1 map getting smaller and smaller and soon no where to hide i think could be real fun .
The problem with control point is with the scoring. U won’t be winning based on kills. We could make an objective that either player can capture and the match ends when it gets captured or when a player is killed.
Or we could do an A&D style for 1vs1 for best of 7.
That could work but the person defending would have a huge advantage as they can just camp close to the objective
Make who ever captures the king of the hill point first win. There does not need to be a scoring system
either you capture the point first or kill your opponent
We could do that. We’ll just have to make sure the spawn point is exactly the same distance to make it fair.
It’ll just start off as a rush to the control point. Once it’s captured, it needs to be disarmed. It won’t be fair if the player just wins.
Maybe make it so zombies are also chasing the people in the match . Im just a horror geek so i say zombies and monsters for all hahahha

1v1 modes in other games are basically what I suggested. I honestly have never seen anyone camp in a 1v1 game because it just doesn’t make sense to get into a 1v1 match to camp. 1v1 maps have to be small though, cuz it's supposed to be quick game, unless players wanna have some fun sniping. Showing the enemy on the radar would be enough to avoid camping, I think.
the objective is just winning more rounds so u take the win

favela might be too big for such a mode. Maybe sections of it like just the roof

Then you do as RGS suggested with a circle closing. This way there is no time to camp or get lost

each round shouldnt last more than 3 minutes
there will be people hiding just to annoy the other player, so the circle would help :d
I don't like that idea because it will make it harder for me to sneak up on you
You always have to be on the move because you know the circle is coming and in favela if your caught in the building you have good chance of circle killing you or getting shot.

i think this mode will also make the game more peaceful. when players are fighting they can just say 'come 1v1' and whoever loses wont have the courage to start another fight 😄
They also would not want to give there position away if they are lurking around for the kill so yeah and short rounds yeah . Proximity chat will give you up

We can start with a basic 1vs1 mode. If it’s a private match, then camping wouldn’t matter. if it’s a public match, the players will do what it takes to not lose (camping). Plus it is usually hard to find each other without radar if both players are sneaking.

What about a flag capture mode
?
Both teams only have knife and they need to take the flag on the other team base, they kill enemy and the flag comes back to base
Pretty simple, but fun
A Capture the Flag mode was something we never had in the old games. I think it could be an interesting game mode. Maybe we can add an option for weapons. It might be a good idea to create this in its own post. We will probably put up all of the game mode candidates for voting in the near future.
