multiple things can contribute to that, just depends. main reason for low pop right now would be that it wipes in less than 24 hours, other factors can play a role in how dead though, its pretty late and its a us server and people come and go

Quad has been doing not too good population wise for a while now. the swap to bi-weekly wipes are an attempt to make it more attractive to more players again.
