Hey @torn flame thanks for replying, if this isnt the place i apologize man, but i belive i saw Shadowfrax(hes a youtuber that covers rust content, that may or may not be put in the game), but there was mention of a server rule being pushed to servers via facepunch. It did something with setting loot to be as if population was = 300? So to my understanding, it will be turned on come force wipe, but server adminsitrators can turn it off. If my understanding is clear - Say there is 1 person on or 700 on, that setting will make loot act as if there are 300 people online. Will rusticated 'revert' that setting to the default(that was an option also discussed in Shadowfrax's video)? Where do Rusticated servers stand with this decision? Is it admins? Us? Is there a polll etc? What is the current decision process on that?

I understand what you mean, similar to the "loot refresh mechanism", the more the server population, the faster the resource refresh speed. This is normal, and I am very sure that this is 100% applied on large servers. I once encountered it on the rocket launch site. At that time, the server population was 600+, and the loot and resource boxes kept refreshing. This is the rule of FP. The official community server cannot change it, but private servers can modify it through commands

Hello everyone, I have a problem. I got banned by Rust's anti-cheat (EAC ban).

For context: I logged into Rust like I do every day, and when I tried to connect to my wipe, it said I was EAC banned. I swear I have never cheated or done anything illegal. I've spent money on the game, I have 3,500 hours played — it's my favorite game.

I've already appealed to Facepunch, but I only receive automated responses, and I also submitted an appeal on the anti-cheat's website. I think the only solution now is to contact a developer directly. That would really save me — if anyone has any contacts or solutions, please help.

Once again, I want to emphasize that I have never cheated in this game. I was really shocked to see that I had been banned.

Where can I get advice on fixing lag? On 2x Vanilla Thursday I am rubberbanding my butt off and i have troubleshooted for days. My internet to other servers and services appears great. It seems my ISP is routing me through a couple hops that give me horrific packet loss but I have no clue how to stop that. When i use a VPN on WinMTR it shows no packet loss, which suggests better routing, however I am not allowed to join your servers with a VPN. How do i get to play the game? Will AT&T fix their entire route for me (im sure they wont right?)

Mismatched Server Files / Not Able To Download Map

1 - Press F1 and type console.clear
2 - Try and Join the server again (You will get the error still)
3 - Press F1 again and type copy
4 - Open a .TXT file and press CTRL + V
5 - Look for "Loading custom map" and there will be a URL next to it
6 - Copy and paste that URL into an internet browser
7 - locate your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) and delete everything in there.
8 - Take the downloaded file and drag that into your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps)
9 - Restart Rust and you should be good!

6 - Copy and paste that URL into an internet browser
7 - locate your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) and delete everything in there.
8 - Take the downloaded file and drag that into your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps)
9 - Restart Rust and you should be good!
