Trobleshooting
Use cmd prompt to see if you get "General Failure" when you type command 'ping server.ip.here' in windows cmd prompt or linux/mac shell.
Example:

A failed connection could look like this:

Heads up its MCAFEEE!!! It has Rusticated servers marked as potentially malicious.

Way to fix on user end:

1. Open McAfee Control Panel
2. Go to "My Protection" under the top left 3 bar menu.
3. Go to "Advanced Firewall"
4. Disable "Advanced Firewall"

Mismatched Server Files / Not Able To Download Map

1 - Press F1 and type console.clear
2 - Try and Join the server again (You will get the error still)
3 - Press F1 again and type copy
4 - Open a .TXT file and press CTRL + V
5 - Look for "Loading custom map" and there will be a URL next to it
6 - Copy and paste that URL into an internet browser
7 - locate your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) and delete everything in there.
8 - Take the downloaded file and drag that into your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps)
9 - Restart Rust and you should be good!
