It makes us suspicous for sure but no matter the account we go through the same list of steps

No matter what all our admins are required to upload evidence for any ban, while it might influence the chance of them cheating having a spoofed account isnt "evidence" to say the least

No matter what "steam profile" hours are never accurate. The amount of time people spend in browser or afk etc. All our hour tracking comes based off actually playing on rust servers. So while you might think you have 3k hours we see you only have 1000 hours of play time.

The idea is obviously more of a stopgap since EAC is not working out here. It's more flipping it on its head... what non-cheater is going to spoof their account

Oh for sure I understand that about rust... that's why I thought this one was interesting because they were clearly trying to add other games to make it look like rust wasn't the only owned game and went about unlocking achievements (all unlocked achievements with 1 minute of playtime)

but I get the flaw. it's an arms race too. once they figure out what the criteria is, they change and it doesn't matter

3 - Press F1 again and type copy
4 - Open a .TXT file and press CTRL + V
5 - Look for "Loading custom map" and there will be a URL next to it
6 - Copy and paste that URL into an internet browser
7 - locate your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps) and delete everything in there.
8 - Take the downloaded file and drag that into your Rust "Maps" Folder (\steamapps\common\Rust\maps)
9 - Restart Rust and you should be good!

If you think someone is cheating, please ensure you F7 report AND create a ticket at https://rusticated.com/create-ticket. Rusticated staff investigates all tickets. If you have any evidence, you can attach it to the ticket. Make sure to select the player's name and a brief description of the situation. Never call out suspected cheaters in chat. If you do, it will make it much harder for us to catch them!

Paypal is currently having issues with packages. It seems the API is running very slow causing packages to be delayed over 1 hour. Nothing we can do on our end you have to wait until the payment is fully completed.
