Yeah when AI is off it is due to a Rust bug which causes the server to stall. Unfortunately turning off AI is the only fix when a crash like that happens and it has to be turned off for the remainder of the wipe or those crashes will continue happening

We dont want to have them off, but are forced to do so when it happens

You need to understand how EAC works

EAC can detect a cheater cheating instantly as soon as they turn on cheats

but EAC will not instantly ban them

You might ask why, this is because if EAC instantly banned cheaters then cheaters would easily be able to bypass EAC's detection as they would know what is causing the detection

so instead EAC and any anticheat really. They collect a group of hundreds of players

then they execute the ban

This way it prevents cheaters from knowing how they got detected.

Issue with this like a game like rust you can lose everything in seconds. So it sucks.
