Normally that's great, haha. Those 4 would generally become quad rank, which I'm not super familiar with tbh. Could check in overclocking thread. Might not be an issue at all. I don't suppse you're even gonna a try to OC 4 dimms (much)

I was told I'd have ~40% chance of success at getting all 4 to work at 3800mhz 14cl
so I am not exactly optimistic but I can return 2 if I fail

Single rank would oc better sometimes, and 4 dimms always tougher to oc than 2. Could start w/ just 1 kit by itself, lol. This is Rev E & can do 4000+ ez depending on cpu, then obviously it's just CL that's a guess. 3800c15 shouldn't be too tough at least. Mem testing is a tedious thing.

Well I bet you could do 4000, the CL will be a guess. There's definitely plenty of people w/ that same ram though. 12th gen is still kinda new, and then looking at past gens you'd have to checkout 10th gen setups because it didn't have the gear 2 bs & was better than 11th gen.

cool yeah my current 64gb ram setup cant run past 3200mhz and I think 18cl
so regardless this will do a lot better

Yea XMP should be ez at the very least, even if 4dimm setups usually are single rank (single sided). I figure the 2x32GB kit has a crappy $/GB huh.

Oh heck the 2x32 isn't even ez to find now. Well anyways ballistix is at least nearly the best choice for 2 kits even if we already knew they're the same dies. W/ all 4 installed eventually, might just have to confirm the command rate in bios is either 1T or 2T. I forget which. CR is not "rank", but they're sort of related afaik.
